Caroline has been teaching ballet, creative movement and character dancing to children from the ages of 3 years through 18 years old for twenty years.
She recently moved to Arizona from Westport, CT where she was the owner/teacher at the Ballet Academy of Westport for 17 years.
Caroline is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance in London. She is also a Practical Teaching Supervisor with the Royal Academy of Dance in the USA as well as a Tutor for the Royal Academy specializing in Planning for Effective TEaching.
Caroline Atkinson also holds degrees in Child Psychology and Development as well as Anatomy and Kinesiology.
She has studied extensively in London at the Royal Academy of Dance Headquarters in Battersea Square; as well as at Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, New York; Rutgers College in New Jersey; Loyola Marymount University in California and Long Beach University in California.
Caroline was also Secretary for the Tri-State Regional Panel (New Jersey, Connecticut and New York) for the Royal Academy of Dance.
