CLASSES TAUGHT: Ballroom Dance

Ms. Dale Kuhn has been instructing in the field of ballroom dance for 20 years. Dale studied with dance trainers from the Arthur Murray and Fred Astaire organizations. In the early 1990’s she and her husband Michael co-owned a ballroom dance studio in Mesa, Arizona. Michael’s ballroom teaching background spans nearly 30 years as instructor and in management with Arthur Murray and Fred Astaire schools. During her career Dale has competed in several Pro/Am ballroom competitions with her students.
Dale’s artistic background includes many years of performing in local Phoenix and Scottsdale theatre groups as well as joining the ranks of Director for shows at Glendale Little Theatre. Her directing skills took her to a Western Regional competition where her group of actors won second place.
For Dale, the enjoyment received from teaching partner dancing is extremely rewarding. Helping people to gain confidence on the dance floor and gain a skill that is usually outside their comfort zone is just pure excitement. She is passionate and fun with her students and encourages anyone who thinks they have two left feet to at least give it a try!
